There was an even more worrying point of note...
What can this mean and does anybody who attended understand?

I was there, and I understand the comment about the band not really seeming 'alive', almost like they'd all had a bit of a falling out before hand! Didn't spoil it though :)

Not sure what OP is referring to about the other 'worrying point of note', my guess is that there was no showcase of anything new, unlike what was promised in the sales blurb, however I think anyone who went knew this wasn't really gonna happen.

Mmmh... Disappointing news I find.
And could you post the setlist played on the Solstice show please ?

Great to see you all! Maisie et al on tower duties, doing us proud.

I don't know about any "worrying point of note"? That sounds like vaguebooking to me

From where I was standing (about 5-6 rows back in the stalls) it sounded awesome. Carl was really into it, really belting out the emotion in the lyrics & he looked up at the lights on the cries of "Wake up!" inviting something in. Roof or no roof, we were well and truly celebrating Solstice under the Strawberry Moon at that point :D Psychonaut was was one of the best i've heard, and i've heard the best believe me. (And i only had 2 drinks as i was driving home, so clarity of thought here is not an issue!) When i dropped back to get some water, it did sound a bit tinny up on the merchandise level and at the back near the loos. Down on the floor, sounded great again, and plenty of room as only about half full overall. (not surprising, being a Monday school night). I'm glad i went for it, and will be at Winter Solstice in a hot minute if i can.

Seems like some of you guys were at a different gig to me last night ... almost perfect setlist, great sound from where I was and I thought the band were on fantastic form. Oh well, can't please everyone I guess.

It was an amazing night! I thought their performance was very much "alive" from the beginning to the end and the setlist was indeed great. Atmosphere was magical and I'm pretty sure I'll remember this gig for a long time. Tickets for December were bought as soon as I came back, let's see if December will be an even better show. *cthulhu*

Summer Solstice has two 'M's although Sumerland only has one....*pedant*

Anyhoo what's the conspiracy about a falling out? Eh? Yer like a bunch of fish wife's! :P David Icke is on standby.

I was there as were many other followers. We love the old and new and we were more than happy with the 'ceromony'. A few naysayers of recent were even raving and saying it was something special. The Nephs had redeemed themselves in their eyes!

The Elizium section obviously had Submission missing but it's a bit redundant I think anyway. To me Sumerland was epic. The gathering came more alive then.

It's 2016 peeps. Remember that. Things change and I think for the better.

If you want The Wright brothers you'll need a Tardis and good luck with that.

Here's to Summer and I'm looking forward to the Winter Solstice.

Forever Remain.

It was really the best show. I got completely carried away and it looked to me (I was at the first row almost in the middle) that all of musicians got carried away too and it was not just even another gig but powerful magic ritual. Just incredible expirience!!

We were pretty near the front in the middle and it sounded good from there !!
All in all I thought it was a great Gig.

Fantastic gig.
Great sound when standing on the floor.

I was very happy when I left the Building and will be returning in december. No doubt about that

Why no Submission - 'redundant' really? One of their best for the final original years....

Couldn't go - Monday night in London when I live on the South coast and the trains are knackered. Have been to every other London show for many years and really wanted to see Submission played given the notice about Sumerland being played in full 2 weeks before the show (last minute panic about low ticket sales?)

Oh well....

Personally, Submission is the one track on Elizium (not Sumerland) that I am not completely in love with, so didn't miss it myself on Monday.

Where did they announce that the album would be played in full ? I just saw a notice that fans of Elizium should be happy if they attend the gig (or something along those lines).

Anyway, the last I am going to post on this ... loved the gig, best in ages and I am quite happy to keep going to see them despite (or maybe even because) there are no new songs, if they continue on this form.

Just my opinion.

Yep Nmated - Elizium - not Sumerland... thanks - never post after a wine or two.... maybe Rob's tweets did suggest full album though....

Still, am I the only fan of Submission? Broken wah-wah at the end, Carl on top form at Worthing and Brixton when played live...am I the only one who thinks present band can't play it?
