1. i posted in the right section
2. someone else warned me about this forum and about your british arrogance (talking about all of you) but i was too deaf to listen.
3. besides you and 20 or 30 more people no one i know heard about eden house. i have asked about them on a lot of rock/metal forums and guess what, got answers like " eden who? "
4. this so-called band will never get any mainstream success because they have nothing to say, their music is a cheap imitation of pop-rock female voice based bands from the '80 & '90's.
5. if you guys are not ready to accept other people opinions just ask a moderator to lock the topic & ban me.
1. That you did.
2. Is British arrogance different from other country arrogance? Please define British arrogance!
You sound a bit arrogant yourself!
By the way, there are a number of non-British fans on this list, so do they have British arrogance also? I'm confused (very easily done!)
3. Have you asked those same people if they have ever heard of Fields of the Nephilim? Even FOTN is a small band, even in their heyday. Not everybody has heard of FOTN, which does not mean that FOTN are not good. As John Lydon once ranted, there is a lot of good music out there, kiddies, but you won't hear it on Top of the Pops!
4. They are not a cheap imitation of anything. They are their own band and in my opinion they are very good. And the reason why they are mentioned here is because they feature Tony Pettit (ex FOTN), Simon Rippin (ex Nefilim), Andrew "Andy" Jackson (ex FOTN / Nefilim producer). And they have used Peter Yates, Nod Wright and Paul Wright (ex FOTN and Rubicon). Personally, I think they are excellent and are excellent live. Goth wannbes? Hardly!
5.) There is a whole world of a difference between constructive criticism and insults. You came across as insulting and not constructively critical. I think that is why some people have got a little hostile.
And another thing, going back to point 3, when did popularity ever mean good? Two words... Girls Aloud!
