I don't think that posts on band facebook pages appear in news feeds automatically now so a lot of stuff goes unnoticed. It's a bit shit really. But I'm sure the new NFD album won't beStranger wrote:Am I really the first to post this?

Yes. I've never really cared for the way most bands & labels use only Facebook & Twitter for their news updates. I miss the days when I could be informed by going to a band's official web site, or blog at least. At least The Eden House still posts info on their web site.titan wrote:I don't think that posts on band facebook pages appear in news feeds automatically now so a lot of stuff goes unnoticed.
Would it be heresy to say that I find myself more enthused by NFD & Eden House announcements than I do "official" FOTN announcements?titan wrote:It's a bit shit really. But I'm sure the new NFD album won't be
The latter I assume. Many have migrated to facebook, but only in the sense that they have an account there, but there's not really a central Dawnrazor-community there.Stranger wrote:Btw, I've been away from this board for a while. There seems to be a significant drop-off in activity. Have members migrated, or has a weariness set in?

I don't have it yet - on it's way I hope.nomad wrote:So...Reformations...what do we think?
I was initially underwhelmed but now it's really growing on me.
Some pretty heavy riffs and cracking guitar parts too.
A more progressive sounding NFD.
Nice.
Plus...nice to see that Bob thanks us all here! Cheers Bob!
Kostas I really love that 'Tides' ep. It was really outstanding. Any idea when Opened Paradise will be bringing out a new album.Kostas wrote:Powerful stuff, although I could do without the extensive guitar solos. My personal favorite is "the unknown", which -for me- is the NFD trademark in terms of song writing and equal use electric and acoustic guitars. I also liked the lyrics and the excellent layout, photos, graphic design etc. Overall a quality release! Good job guys
they are currently working on a new full length album mate, don't know when it will be finished though. Now back to NFD, their new ep is definitely a grower. Love it more with every listen.WolfLover wrote:.......Kostas I really love that 'Tides' ep. It was really outstanding. Any idea when Opened Paradise will be bringing out a new album...
