Question!

Guess this band doesn't need any closer presentation. If you don't know of them (shame on you) you should check them out immediately. They play live on a regular basis and release records.

I actually can tolerate Oasis in small doses. However, if we're talking about manc bands that didn't have Ian Curtis as a vocalist, James could have the lot of them with their collective hands tied behind their backs. So there.

And fortunately, NONE of them are metal... *whistle*

You can't talk about Manc bands without mentioning the Chameleons - Best Manc band ever

Have to agree there.
Like the new avatar by the way. Anythings better than that Zoon loving Stripey B'stard

James… Yes, but IMHO, the vocalist — no, the bloody buggery SINGER, if you catch my drift — was the only thing they had for 'em. This and their sense of humour (never forget this !)
Oasis… Well there are worse bands. But then, there are worse of anything !
What the feck are you Brits joking about… Oh, well, let it go…
Fundraiser. You know, it's like Hellraiser, but without the Cenobites, the blood and all that.

The Badger's on holiday at the moment; he's Returned to the east. No motive for it though, he just walked away - weeping blood (whilst ignoring the bloodstains) back from where he came; from the promised land. *whistle*

What would you recommand mate ? I have only their late live CD, but so far, after all the good things I heard about them (and the influence they had on bands I like), I'm pretty much unimpressed. Or maybe it was more impressive, you know… Back In Ye Days.
(A bit like discovering Sonic Youth nowadays, as I am doing ! *smoking* )

Anyway, the question is, are NFD still a going concern? It's gone awfully quiet.

Agree 100% about Adoration vocals- too limp and samey. They just drone away on top of the excellent music.

I actually really like the vocals. It's nice to hear something different from the normal fulsome femmes and growly guys.
