Re: Setlist variation since 2007

Sunchild wrote:There are several recent performances of Earthbound on Youtube, but no mention of it here.
It's called Equinox. Earthbound was the fans' best guess (due to the prior tour of the same name) when the setlists only gave away the initial letter.

Re: Setlist variation since 2007

Time for the annual update. Leaving aside Carl's and Gav's private show at FluxBau Berlin on May 13 only two gigs to add, with the most recent one being very special, however, as the following list makes clear. 73 shows in total now since resuming gigging in 2007. And about time to dissolve the cate...

Re: Forum 21st Dec

I'm so very sad. 30 years. I'm done. £72 wasted. What a terrible set, did someone forget how to manage the crowd or do they just not care anymore? The music was badly executed. I just want to cry, live neph gigs have been such a huge part of my life, I feel like I'm in mourning. Angry. Sad. Depress...

Re: DAWNRAZOR FORUM SHUTOWN

So it is here to stay. Great! Seconded!! The only reason to shut down I would find to be plausible was if the administrators wouldn't want to do the work anymore and would not find any successors. I fully understand being frustrated because of a cancelled gig (due to insufficient ticket sales, acco...

Re: FOTN bootlegs, where to find them?

I see... So far I was looking to get these ones: - Flour Power (LP 7"), - But Can Spock do this? (LP 7"), - Ritual of Fire (LP 12"), - Darkfields (CD). If memory serves, all of these were available on Discogs before they were blocked from the marketplace. So I assume they will show u...

Re: FOTN bootlegs, where to find them?

I've checked on discogs as well, but some of the bootlegs I'm looking for aren't available there to buy... Discogs has very recently begun to disable its marketplace for unofficial releases. The number of entries affected is still growing. A few weeks ago most of the Nephilim boots were still liste...

Re: Setlist for Amphi 2017

From description of the gig I have got a feeling that probably it will be MS album in row? I'd be VERY surprised if that happened and I don't believe the gig descriptions have any substance to them (unless they specifically state what is going to be played). Not that I'm too keen on MS anyways. I'd...

Yig Hughes

Due to a misconfig older messages from the General chat got deleted. So I'm putting this old one back up. Btw, there now is a fb group in memory of YH. I've just read Yig Hughes has passed away. I've only seen Altered States once, but 'Is Anyone Out There?' is one of my all time favourite albums. I ...

Re: Elizium: CD variations

does anyone have pictures showing the variations? You'll find most of these on Discogs. Including pics of all the different disc surface artwork of the above. The artwork changes for other releases are far more interesting. For Elizium it's primarily colour variation. Or are you referring to the ma...

Re: Elizium: CD variations

I hope you're gonna put all the info into Discogs.com once you're done  Accurate date info would be great as many of the current entries state 1990 for things that are blatantly reissues. I'd find it confusing if the entries showed the manufaturing/pressing date instead of the release date. I...

Re: Setlist variation since 2007

With this year's shows over and no gigs announced for next spring, we've now had 10 full years of stage appearances. Time for an update. So, adding Azkena, the Summer Solstice, Castle Party, and the Winter Solstice to the above: 71 gigs in total the backbone: Moonchild (71), Last Exit (56), Psychona...

Re: Elizium: CD variations

Thanks for checking, Enoch! If you don't mind, would you share when you got this? I believe the different pressings came more or less in the order in which I listed them which would make Lynic comparatively recent. But this is only an educated guess. Btw, the Lynic pressing of Dawnrazor comes with u...

Re: Elizium: CD variations

I am adding the list of German Elizium CD releases since these have been widely distributed and there are many German members to this board. All of these have been released by SPV/Rebel Records. Entries as above, analogous to the scheme for UK CDs. A Russian pirate release with the same matrix as th...

Elizium: CD variations

Some threads on this forum have mentioned variations in the artwork on Nephilim CDs. In order to figure these out, I have put together a list of the different pressings. To begin with and to keep things simple, I have limited the below list to UK CD releases of Elizium (other albums are more confusi...

Everyone is entitled to their own misconceptions. I fancy my worldview infused with just a tad more factual accuracy. Whatever, I just returned home from the "chord strummer's" solo debut. What a mesmerizing show! Haunting, captivating, intense. Peter Yates and Evi Vine shared vocal duties...

Re: Peter Yates

Excited?...Hell yes! Try to imagine Preacher Man without the slide, Last Exit sans ebow, Elizium stripped of its prog elements. No Endemoniada either. And who wrote the riffs for Love Under Will and For Her Light? Less than 55 hours to go. Pete Yates' solo debut. New music. And some treats for colle...

Re: Setlist variation since 2007

Impressive piece of work! Thanks, gilgamesh! Just a bit of quick counting… Shows what I think many have felt, that the set is built around a staple few songs with some variation around them. I suppose it's what happens when there has been minimal new material in that period. I have felt recently th...
