Re: 2021 dates

Plage Noir sounds like a cool mixed sound goth-y type of event so I think about joining, even if most bands appearing there other than FotN are not quite my cup of tea, or even known to me^^

Re: Sad news

They have merely been a Nephilim covers band for quite a few years now so if Carl is tired of the same thing, imagine what us fans of 30 years think!!!!! Hilarious usage of the plural. It is just you, dear fan of 30 years. Don't presume to speak of anyone else. Hilarious reduction of an actual gene...

Angels of Liberty - Voe dead?

So except a few facebook comments I have not seen anything about that: After reading about "new album almost finished" February 2017, there was no news. Completely forgetting about that, I only today tried to find out what's new, finding "RIP" messages and someone with a picture ...

Sad to hear she's so unwell :( I do wish her the best - I think I remember that her lyme can't be beaten, but the cancer hopefully can.

Re: CELTIC FROST Bassist Martin Ain Passes Away At 50

There is a lesson in this kiddo - Don't involve yourself with fear, mind control, brain washing cults or false prophets like: Levey, Black Metal, Luciferianism, Satanism, Joseph Campbell, Christianity, Catholicism, or Carlos Castenada. And in what lies the lesson exactly? What is the fear / mind co...

Also Inquisition, though that's just me maybe...

Re: Your fav releases in 2016

I did not buy that many records last year, and even fewer were from 2016... Anyway: 1. Throes of Dawn - Our Voices Shall Remain 2. Long Night - Sorrow Returns 3. Malphas - Occult Propaganda The others don't belong in a best of, but there were some cool things on The KVB - Of Desire, Sivert Høyem - L...

Re: Elizium: CD variations

Thanks for checking, Enoch! If you don't mind, would you share when you got this? I believe the different pressings came more or less in the order in which I listed them which would make Lynic comparatively recent. But this is only an educated guess. Btw, the Lynic pressing of Dawnrazor comes with ...

Voting for Carey would be voting against James. And even though I like Carey's style as demonstrated in Adoration and TEH more than James' in FotN, I do not vote against someone doing a really good job. So I abstain. I am Swiss. Fitting perhaps.

I like the original, I like Evi Vine's music's slow and calm and sad mood, and the fact that Peter Yates is involved, but somehow, I just don't know how I feel about that cover.
