Re: Fan art
Hey I just saw the latest. Really nice! One of these days I gotta get back and draw something. I have no time right now. Bah.
Re: Fan art
You should definitely illustrate Nod's stories(can be found somewhere on these forums, I reckon)!

Keep up this fan art it's amazing such talented people. I like the idea of illustrating Nod. It reminded me of when I met my now husband he was doing an A level in Art and he did a sort of cartoon page thing of The Sisters v's The Mission it was hilarious. He also drew Carl in charcoal and pencil. This was 23 years ago so have no idea what happened to them but I'm going on a hunt!
Keep up the great work, I love it!

Re: Fan art
I would LOVE to illustrate The NOD corner! I will get right on it....and it will be in segments maybe a quick panel or so a week depending on how busy I am. ! Hold me to this! Q: Are they all on here? I will search around and try to find the first one.
Re: Fan art
Awesome! Thanks for posting the link. I'm currently thumbnailing some rough ideas for the first panel of Nod's Weak Bladder. This is gonna be fun! I hope to have it up asap! (At least this will give me something to look forward to at the pt crap day job!)
Re: Fan art

He needs to look more ego-centric and intimidating! Especially, for the NC.
Otherwise, lovely sketch!

Re: Fan art
I think it's just right for the young Carl... Say, why is no one ever doing Paul Wright sketches?

Re: Fan art
I actually found some great reference of the rest of them (young) last night. If you go to Getty Images and search for Fields of the Nephilim, in between the years 1987-1999 some great BW backstage photos of them all young come up- so ill be referring to those alot. You probably have seen many of them, but if not they are pretty interesting to look at. And yes, gotta draw the rest of them! Re: Fan art
This is what I've been busy with this weekend:
For some time I've been having this idea of designing a mount suitable for the zone tripper - some mutated horse accustomed to the life in a radioactive desert. After several failed attempts(one even looked like a cross-breed of horse and camel) I came up with this design which I think shares the key elements from the appearance of the Nomad, who in turn shares key elements from the appearance of Carl himself. Sadly, movie stills could not be used as particularly good references, so I afforded myself some creative freedom here.
I hope you guys would at least find this idea amusing!
Cheers!
Let's say, it's a little tribute to Hardware and McCoy's character from this movie. Fundraiser. You know, it's like Hellraiser, but without the Cenobites, the blood and all that.

Re: Fan art
If I was on facebook, I'd say: "Hit 'like' if you want more amusing fanart like that!(Or everyone you know and love will die in 2 weeks)", but I'm not on facebook, so I will simply say: I'm happy that you guys liked this piece!
As for Carl's character in Hardware - it struck me how ingenious he looks from the character design point of view. I mean, gas mask with the broken glass shield that he uses only for the filter, while wearing the trademark McCoy goggles for eye protection - effing brilliant, if you ask me!
Mrs Shine, I'm looking at you know!

And I'm not sure if I was trying to make Keith Thompson proud here!Ngie wrote:Especially some details such as the earring and feathers of the "horse"goyless wrote:I hope you guys would at least find this idea amusing!
