The lyrics are on the official website - they're just a bit hard to read.

He says how lonely you are waiting at the sunday lock
I'll elude you I will loose you existing with no souls apart
you stand.. stand on a platform
your effigy dissolves in my hands
When I feel like someone to lie on and I feel like someone to rely on you can't wake up
you can't wake up you can't wake up
can't wake up

Illusions born of the air
something seems so precious there
I'll elude you I will loose you as rehersal of my despair
When I feel like someone to lie on and I feel like someone to die on you can’t wake up you can’t wake up
you can’t wake up
you can’t wake up you can’t wake up
can’t wake up

and after that? What do you get of the further lyrics?
All I've got is :

Oh ...
Oh ...
Oh...
Oh here I am this purple Avila

Any Spanish contingent around?

Aw Ngie, I was hoping for something more poetically ludicrous, like your The Tower lyrics: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2230
That was superb!  *notworthy*

Sorry if I disappointed you on this one Seagas*. The reference to Therese D'Avila all as itself is highly poetic-mystic-romantic if you read the biography of this weird character... all the more with the association to purple. *smoking*

I think the "oh hear me" sounds more like "waaa can't hear me"

IMO it would make a much better parallel to the "can't wake up" lyric that is already in the song. *whistle*

Well this is what it says on the official website with the exception of monologue being necrologue.

Ok Baba, thanks for making the point. I think I have to recall my Purple Avila and send it back to her Spanish tumb, unless Hellboy feels like brandishing this bigote's -here red- main characteristic

Although now it sounds obviously clear auditively, before being cut differently for reason of the rythm and music of song the formar sentence could possibly read like :"Oh hear me.. I'm what you have left here. I am in this necrologue of love." which makes not much change actually.

Good stuff...but I'm still stumped on some of the lyrics.
He clearly sings other words in between the "You can't wake up" lines too...what are they?

...your effigy dissolves in my hands
When I feel like someone to lie on and I feel like someone to rely on
you can't wake up
you can't wake up
---What does he sing here?---
you can't wake up
can't wake up
---and what does he sing here?---

...Illusions born of the air

It's a funny one: the lyrics printed in the sleeve notes begin with "how lonely you are" and it's a lower case letter and we hear something before.

I've always heard it as Eleazer. It's a Goth song if ever there was one by subject matter :)
how lonely you are waiting at the sunday park
I'll elude you, I will loose you
Existing were no soul apart
You stand on a platform
Your effigy dissolves in my hands
When I feel like someone to lie on
And I feel like someone to rely on
You can't wake up
Illusions born of the air
Something seems so precious there
I'll elude you, I will lose you
As rehearsal of my despair
When I feel like someone to lie on
And I feel like someone to die on
You can't wake up
Oh here me
I'm what you have left
Here I am
In this necrologue of love
how lonely you are waiting at the sunday park
This ornamentation lends itself to the gothic which is furthered with:
I'll elude you, I will loose you
Existing were no soul apart
You stand on a platform
Your effigy dissolves in my hands
You kind of get the impression that whatever it is is being invoked.
I thought initially at the tender age of 14 that 'loose' was a typing-mistake but actually 'to loose' something/someone makes sense.
It's threatening and not at all moral. Images of the means through 'effigy' I found to be indicative.

Anyway, it's a strong Rock Goth piece I feel and it's one of my favourite Neph Songs for many, many years now.

Personally, the material on Elizium has entailed that it's perhaps my favourite album.
