Mr Numan at the City of Rock tonight. His new album is one of the best things I've heard this year.

Re: Currently Contemplating a Live Experience with...
Thew Mission in Berlin or Cologne in december and Depeche Mode in Prague in february
...but actually prices for Depeche Mode, which seems the better chance, are incredibly expansive , so maybe i will turn to other things, maybe a The Cure gig if they decide to play some gig in europe next year .
Flights for Cologne aren't already scheduled in december from where i live, via Milan wich is the cheapest chance i can go again to Berlin, or spending some more money i can choose here/Rome/Cologne, but it's a bit more expansive

All our days are numbers
We bare the face of men
The rain, the skies are changing
But I will fly again

May 24th - Babes In Toyland. If I could go back in time and watch the show again I would. Closest thing to a religious experience I've ever had in a church. Support from Skating Polly was also awesome. If only some goth bands were that good.
May 29th - Amanda Palmer. If I buy new tickets. Having been fecked in the arse by TicketMaster. Cnuts.
May 31 - Mudhoney is tempting... not sure if the wallet will support it though.
June 5th - Eats Everything & Adam Beyer. TECHNO TECHNO!!!
June 11th - Leftfield. Here's hoping they're as loud as when I saw them back in '94.
June 22nd - Dead Kennedys. Another tempting one...
July - EXIT!!!! Woo-hoo!!! Finally got act together to go party in a medieval Serbian fortress!

Y'know, I was of the opinion that Metallica sucks now too. Last time I saw them was in 88. I missed them in 91 as I was pregnant then gave up when they sold out.
But then I saw them last week in Glasgow and yes they are older, a bit slower and don't quite have the raw power they had back in 86 when I saw them first...
They still kicked ass! The same can't be said for their young whippersnapper support who were shite, but I digress.
The Metallica brand, on the other hand is just sad and desperate. I was inundated with emails offering me tat with their logo on to buy.
Neph stuff I might be tempted with. C'mon Carl pull your finger out and do ... something, anything.

A tad late but never the lesss..
Was up at wgw in october, caught most of the bands aside from Theatre of Hate.. Star Industry are the best non-tribute Sisters tribute band have seen so far, Birthday peeps were good, am starting to like the twinkly twinkly tunes partnerred by the dark lyrics, a nice mix but for me the best band was oddly Lupen Tooth, they back filled for Fuzzbox and were a good comedy horror find. Maybe not intended but lyrics such as "you dont smell the same anymore, perhaps I should not have dug you up" and "my girlfriend loves satan more than me" floated my boat.
Shame whitby was filled with Steampunks but still a few goths in the Angel whinging about the flaneurs
