Currently Contemplating a Live Experience with...
We don't appear to have a "I'm off to see (insert name of band/variety act /stripper here) next month" sort of thread...
I'll start as I am currently contemplating The Wedding Present's 20th anniversary tour of the classic George Best album.
Also contemplating The Mission in Feb but no news as yet!
And am deffo seeing NFD on 31st August at Bill's house!
Anyone else contemplating or better still has, in fact, purchased tickets for anyone in particular?

oooooooooooh....I like this thread...
I was just thinking about that, that I need to sum up all concerts that I intend to see this fall...
If everything goes according to plans (that means me having money and time for all that)
There is....
28.9 Bijelo Dugme (means White Button) ....a band that was big in times of Yugoslavia....now there are only bunch of old people, living in the shade of past glory...but it's always great to hear songs that you grew up with...
9.10 - Muse...for which I hope that our ride wont be cancelled again...
13. 10 - Hladno Pivo (means Cold beer) - a funny croatian punk - rock bend
24. 10 - Korpiklaani....crazy finns
and least but not last : 9.12 - Therion and Vision Bleak...the latter I'm looking forward to see in normal circumstances...and not on a hot, sunny day like it was on Metal camp.

I guess you were there too??! To be honest, i thought they were quite a bit below par - they didn't seem to take to the venue / audience, and i don't think the audience took to them terribly well either. Maybe it's because i was on the bike and had been drinking fizzy pop all night instead of beer, but it never really quite got going for me....d00mw0lf wrote:T'army were bloody good too!
I must confess that i wasn't too struck by the material from the new album either. Prhaps i'm getting old, lolol
