Nothing FOTN or music related here but a subject I've been studying a lot over the last few years. as I have had dealings in my life with certain people of this type. Forewarned is forearm so I thought I would share this info for anyone who may benefit.
Narcissistic abuse seems to be rampant in the world today and many people are victims of manipulators or may have some of these traits themselves without realizing it. They are acting out from subconcious wounds and defense mechanisms.
If you are in one of these toxic relationship it is up to you to keep your spirit safe, grounded and plan an escape. If you can't escape 100% due something like financial burden or children with a partner, arming yourself with outside support, education, and tools for you sense of self, is vital. If you recognize some of these traits in yourself , it is your responsibility to do something about it, there is help. There are many good resources on the web now that covers this topic.
here are some of the thing to look for though the experiences is very individual how they manifest in a given relationship.
the narcisstic abuse doesnt have to be with a partner, it can be a parent, sibling , friend, boss, etc.
