Listenting to these fantastic albums:

If you pass through my soul tonight
Gather all his troubles
Tomorrow's long with eternal night
Gather for tomorrow
When I'm gone wait here
Discover all of earth's surprises
When I'm gone wait here
I'll send my child my last good smile

So I'm not the only one who thinks "Phantasmagoria" is heavily underrated ?
Christian Death's "Catastrophe Ballet". Surprisingly it took me all these years to get into it ! (And I don't want to think of the WASP-turned-survivalist-bollocks CD has become under Valor's direction !)
Fundraiser. You know, it's like Hellraiser, but without the Cenobites, the blood and all that.

A really nice couple used to go to the Joiner's Arms back when nomad & I were young Sarfhampton lads. It turns out that old Val had invited them to come and live at his "Arctic retreat". Suffice to say - they were less than eager. Something about "what a load of bollocks". Odd that 20 years hasn't changed public opinion. Maybe if he threw in a free polar bear...

I have to admit to being fond of quite a lot of the "bad era" CD. It was the right thing at the right time for me in some ways.

I think "Phantasmagoria" is the best album Madness never made

Still like it mind...
The first bit sounds like Bruce Wayne, and the second bit sounds like Batman.

I only ever bought this album (their first) and had forgotten how ace tracks like Panzer attack, Let's kill music and especially The Lake were. Wonder if they're still going?

…Hu hu ! I won't even repeat what Storm Constantine told me about Valor.
Actually mate, I won't throw the first stone, since I sawat least once CD Valor-era on stage. And paid for it.
(And I admit it took me more years than humanly concievable to finally overcome my distate for death rock and go back to the roots — early CD…)

But expect you'd guessed that already.
Jaw droppingly fantastic, you are not going to be dissapointed. If you think what you've heard so far is brilliant, believe me you ain't heard nothing yet!
