Hi Ledl33!
The band keeps silent about the name of the new guitarist who successfully joined up for Amphi fest after the loss early this year of Tom Edwards. Apart from that, in the wait of an update of the official website as you can see here http://www.fields-of-the-nephilim.com/2 ... BAND1.html in THE BAND / THE HISTORY section - not any since 2011- the other unofficial members are the same 4 :
Carl McCoy - vocals (1984–present)
Gavin King - guitars (2007–present)
Lee Newell - drums (2007–present)
Tony Pettitt - bass (1984-1991, 2013–present)

Re: 2017 Line-up
The guitar player who played with nephs at Amphi also plays guitar for Adam and the ants, as Tom Edwards did. I found that on FB, but I forgot the name of the guy. Maybe someone finds out more.Ngie wrote:Hi Ledl33!

Re: 2017 Line-up
I knew I recognised him, pretty certain it is Adam Ants second guitarist. No idea of his name, but Its the one that's not Will Crewdson.
If you watch the clip below, it's the guitarist to the very left side of the stage (Will is to the right of Adam)

Oh, and Adam Ant plays the Roundhouse 21st December, so he's not going to be playing for both bands !

Re: 2017 Line-up
yeah... and within the next five years there will be frank smith, albert fendon, richard miller, brian ward and pradip gupta joining as various musicians to fill the spots for gigs when they happen.... and would it not be great if we saw another live album with lots of songs we never listened to before.
what i am getting at is : it IS the line up that matters, and as long as the passion, joy and creativity of natural musicians cannot be lived up to , like in a rehearsal room or a studio, we will be presented with golden nuggets like "prophecy" (amazing what a mac can do for a mc, right?) at Carls discretion... great !

Thank you to all of you!
But what did happen to the guitar player from some "metal band" (I forgot his name) who took the place of Tom Edward?

Re: 2017 Line-up
Are you thinking of Andy James from Sacred Mother Tongue? He was cited as full-time Neph by Carl (in a 2015 Gothic Rock interview), but as far as i know played with them on and off since 2013 as a hired-hand.ledl33 wrote:Thank you to all of you!
