Whitby 23.10.15
Firstly, enjoyed it very much especially Dawnrazor and Last Exit For The Lost. Was it just me or did it seem a bit short? Where was Preacherman? Had a good time, despite turning up three hours too early.....but they do nice chips at Whitby Spa Pavillion. Hope there's another next year.

They haven't played Preacher Man at any of the last 3 gigs I've been to. Blue Water seems another obvious favourite that they don't play anymore.
I didn't think it was as good a gig as last year's, didn't seem to have quite the same energy to it. Vet for the Insane was a nice change, but I'd much rather they played Trees Come Down than that One More Nightmare mess! Prophecy I wasn't too sure about, but Last Exit, Dawnrazor and Mourning Sun were all great.

I enjoyed it, first FoTN gig for me. Was it a late (half nine) start last year?Wish I'd gone to that one too, looks good on Youtube. Preacher Man is a fave of mine!!

Yes, it was the same start time and a similar length set. I thought Salvation were pretty good, though they're not a band I was really familiar with before, other than being aware of them due to the Merciful Release connection. I also really like Preacher Man, plus other early ones like Laura and Trees Come Down.

Yeah, and 'Power'. I missed Salvation and Arcane Winter, eating chips lol. It was a good night. Definitely up for next year if they come back.

Orgs said it will be too much to invite them at third time...FuschiaGroan wrote:That's a shame. Do you know why, Julia?

Pah. So it's 'too much' to have a sold-out gig full of us lovely people?!

It was billed as an exclusive concert - maybe they thought they were getting an exclusive appearance and got pissed off when SBE was announced
