One more nightmare vs Trees come down

Doea anyone really prefer One more nightmare over the classic? I mean, I almost hate the new version but as it seems mccoy plays only the later in concerts. I skip the track in ceromonies. I really like the classic version, because I like how the track changes. The new one is just a club mix.

One More Nightmare is the Super Predator of remixes.

It's not that I have a problem with remixes, but OMN is just a club mix wheras TCD has a concept, and it changes tempo for a reason. I was excited when I saw that they have remixed the song, hoping that they have modernized it but unfortunately the end result was not what I expected. It would be great if they started playing the original.

Undecided actually, maybe because it's not one of the strongest tracks anyway in my opinion.

To me, the comparison of older vs. newer version is more interesting for Blue Water for example, where I clearly prefer the newer version, or Laura, where I'd love to hear a concatenated version of Laura + Laura II :)

@ Enoch: Using free software it is possible to DIY a version. Remember to use the same release for both versions, so that mastering and EQ are the closest match.

The Laura version you mentioned was performed live quite a few times in 1986, so it's already been done by the band. :)

Yes, maybe I'll fire up Audacity at some point or maybe get something actually designed to do that ;)

Regarding Laura: I know, I have some bootleg that contains that version, and I really love it! :) However, I'd prefer to have a studio version, because unfortunately, the bootleg record's quality is not top notch.
