Probably some sub-par "metal" thingie, as usual…
Fundraiser. You know, it's like Hellraiser, but without the Cenobites, the blood and all that.

I'd love to go!
I've recently had surgery on my eye, which means I've got to behave myself all summer and will miss out on Altfest. Hopefully I'll be allowed to jump up and down like a loony by December though :D

Peter Yates put up statements that there will be no live setup with the old company again.

(at least one who speaks in clear words, thanks for this Peter Yates!)

I have a very funny feeling that it will feature members of Behemoth and HIM, they're pals with Carl and very influenced by the Nephilim....

As long as it isn't the Mission! :P :o

*smoking* HIM aren't too bad (there I said it!) But the key thing is that having them on the bill will attract a younger sort to the gigs and give us an opportunity to show them why the Nephs are so great. The band will be stonking (hopefully) and we can show the young 'uns how it should be done. *cthulhu*

Plus, girlfriend is coming to both of these gigs, she is still undecided on the Nephs but thinks Mr HIM is a good bit of eye candy so she is happy and it means I get brownie points to cause carnage! *smoking*

P.S. I'm thinking of doing fancy dress again....... :D

I'm afraid of the opposite: that HIM would attract those who come for the sake of the big name. From my experience such crowd seriously spoils the fun for the fans of the band.

... the kids will be surprised of a real neph moshpit with towers, no chance to spoil a gig though. However I'm not really a fan of HIM, but I'll make my decision after I saw them live. Can't be worse then mi..... *whistle*

@Tim ... fancy dress again omg

Tickets will be checked next time I'm home. I did double and triple check the tickets as I was buying them though! Not going through that debacle again!

I'm thinking first night will be a massive sombrero and a gringo tache, anyone want to join me in that, clearly the more the merrier? We can be the 'Last of the Very Drunk Western Heroes'

Second night is going to be a little left field though. Tony put something online the other day which was a video of some crazy japanese swimmers building an enormous tower at a swimming pool. So am considering rocking up to the gig in a swimming cap, Speedos and Nemo armbands......I'm not sure if we will have any takers to join me on that one though!!
