Prepare for a lot of cold. In January 2010 the Nephs played two shows in Warsaw and the temperature was an average of -20 C. Which was awfully cold for a Greek boy like me....

The gigs were excellent though. The Polish crowd rocks. Go for it

C'mooon! Will you let cold stand between you and seeing the concerts? Mere weather conditions? Wear 3 hoodies, 5 tour t-shirts and you're gonna be fine!

Does anyone know the name of the first opening band? I thought THESE were the Deathcamp Project, but Warsaw proved otherwise. I really liked them and would like to check them out. Thanks in advance!

Anyway, out of all the few shows I've been so far I think I liked Krakow the least. There were some annoying things, like press literally climbing onto the stage to get the best shot(I don't mind getting decent quality photos made by these guys, but this time they were really getting in the way for the good half of the set), surprise moshers almost breaking my husband's rib and "I have no idea why I came to this show" folks... The crowd was definitely different from what I remember from last december's Germany. And I think the sound for the Neph could have been better.

EDIT: Apparently the first support band is called The Digital Angel

In fact the sound was awful. One of the worst sounding gigs ever been to.

Heh, so it's not just me! Well, I really don't know how bad it can get since I haven't been to many shows.
Maybe it's also because of the strange shape of this venue(triangular hall with sitting tribunes)...
