Hi all,
Anyone going from the Sheffield area? Would like to go (if tickets still available), but have no friends....
Send me a message if so: markrtomlinson @ hotmail.com
Unlikely to check here. Cheers, Mark

Early Friday morning, on the Coastliner bus.
Stopping over in the last hotel room in Whitby.

I'm going - I just hope the Neph aren't on too late, as I will have to get home and then get up at 5am for work the next morning!

To the few that are going, has anyone else thought where to go for pre-gig drinks. We were thinking of The Board Inn from 4 til 6 for beers and it also does food. Then moving on to The Station from 6ish until time to depart for the Spa. Anyone else got any other thoughts?

A few peeps are meeting at the Little Angel on Flowergate too. Some suggested the Wetherspoons but it's a bit of a trek from there to the Spa.

Re: Rollcall! Whitby 24/10/14
I thought it was a very good gig. I felt short-changed at last year's Leeds concert as they weren't onstage for very long; this one was more satisfying! I was disappointed that they didn't play 'Blue Water', 'Trees Come Down', 'Preacher Man' or 'Laura' (do they ever play those last two nowadays?) It is still very good to have Tony Pettit back, though he didn't look like he was enjoying himself as much as he did at Leeds.
I thought Two Wiches were pretty good too, though I felt sorry for them as there weren't very many people there. I only arrived as 13 Candles were finishing their set, but I don't know any of their songs so not sure how much I'd have enjoyed it.
The only downside to the evening was that about 1/3 of the way through the Nephilim's set a woman pushed in front of me (I was at the front) and proceeded to spend the entire concert with her phone held in the air, right in my line of sight. Phones should be banned from concerts!
