Questions regarding Hamburg 1993

Post by The Last Voice » Fri Nov 29, 2013 5:04 pm

I've started to split the various Nefilim show bootlegs into individual tracks and the version that I have of their Hamburg 1993 show seems to be edited.

The version that I have runs at only 45mins. It's possible that they did play a shorter show, so I hope to confirm this here.

This is what I have:

Intro Tape (The 24th Moment)
Still Life
Xodus
Black Rain
Shine
Moonchild
--------------
Zoon (Wake World)
Coma
Penetration
Venus
-------------

The dots represent edits in the show and where I think some ommissions occurred. eg perhaps Dawnrazor was performed after Moonchild (as with every other show I've worked on) and there's no encore: typically either Last Exit - Chord of Souls or Love under Will.

Can anyone confirm the actual setlist?

Finally, while Ande Tucker's gigography lists the venue as the Markethalle, I believe that it was known by another name at the time (HH). Is anyone able to confirm this too please?

I was at that show and it was the shortest of that mini-tour. I don't recall the setlist tho'

I remember it was the first show of that tour and therefore the first that had been played without the original members, so He was breaking in new material.

The Hamburg gig was the 5th gig on that tour it seems.

According to Ande's list it went like this:

12/12 Stuttgart
13/12 Munich
14/12 Frankfurt
15/12 Cologne
17/12 Hamburg
18/12 Potsdam
19/12 Bielefeld

think the gaps in your recording is just the side tape ran out and so the seconds are missing during changing the tape.
