Festival of Fire cd

Post by radiojamaica » Fri Sep 08, 2006 2:23 pm

Hi everyone :D

Finally I have the feeling I can take part in another forum next to the Heartland extravaganza! It looks great by the way, Johan 8)

I know The Fields for a good 15 years now, have always loved them very much, but have never seen a Nephilim-gig. So sad they cancelled the tour, but hey, let's hope they do deliver next year!

Anyway, I bought the Festival of Fire bootleg cd many, many moons ago and I still play it pretty often to this day. It's a very good recording & gig (I just love the Elisium-days), released on Kiss The Stone in 1992.
http://www.fieldsofthenephilim.de/addfi ... offire.htm

I have it listed as London, 28/4/91 & one of their last performances before the split. Some other traders list it as Dusseldorf, 31/3/91.

Can somebody shed a bit of light on this?

I have both fire fest gigs on tape, unfortunately I can no longer copy tapes due to a dead (but dreaming) machine...I have one on CD, watch your mailbox *whistle*

but isn't this one in the sharing section?
I like these calm little moments before the storm. It reminds me of Beethoven. Can you hear it? It's like when you put your head to the grass and you can hear the growin' and you can hear the insects.

you forgot about that, Ande? *whistle*

Not that I'm complaining. Going trough the collector's guide should keep me quiet anyway *smoking*
