Misheard Neph lyrics

Discuss about the albums and videos the band has released over the years. The band we are talking about here is of course F.O.T.N. and not side-projects, similar bands etc. Please use other sections if you want to talk about the weather.

I know mine aren't very amusing, but I just recalled another Psychonaut-slip:

ME: "Pray for thee above, thee above"
CARL: "Pray for Leviathan, Leviathan"

Up until then I'd only heard "Leviathan" pronounced Le-VIY-a-than, not Le-VEE-a-than.

You know, honestly, it was years before I ever really examined the lyrics. For a long time I went listening to the music with most lyrics simply flying by, but there were always certain tiny segments I'd remember and store in my psyche. Things I implicitly understood. "We dream of familiar places," "The highs and the depths of my soul," many others that would pop out subconsciously into my thoughts at any given moment in waking life.

You know when you walk around the house/garden/supermarket etc singing wee tunes to yourself?

Do you put on the big growly voice when it's a Neph song? (obviously getting all the lyrics wrong)

I've had some really weird looks, coupled with the wife shouting 'stop that noise!!!'
 *whistle*

I thought it was something like that too for a long while (I always heard it as "Pray for me(or the?) above"

Have we had "Unicycle" for "Psychonaut" yet? (I can't be fagged retracing the steps of the thread!)

If we haven't... then my mates took the piss out of me for years... Bastards the lot of them!

It is just after the line where Carl sings "We're Falling From Ecstasy". I think the actual line is "And you deserve us" but it can be substituted for Unicycle quite effectively...

Like I said... bastards the lot of 'em... still love that song though...

I thought the same thing. That was the only misheard lyric I had, Most of the lyrics kinda sound like jibberish or chants from lovecraft.
