Crying heard at the start of Love Under Will?

I've been curious about this for years, and it's bugging me. I've watched 'In the Name of The Rose' and it's a incredible movie. There is a scene where the chubby monk is whipping himself and he's wimpering, but I can't find any part of the movie that that crying though. The end of the song has the scene where you see the monks along with Sean Connery and Christian Slater singing in the chapel, and the beautiful sunset is very evocative to me and it's that image I see in my head when 'Love Under Will' ends. Anyway help would be truly great.
