Happy to see that some other persons like this song, here.
Everytime I'm listening to it, I deeply regret taht Carl has not chosen to give / publish a finished form of it. It's one the most interesting things I've heard of the Nefilim "unreleased" area. It's surely one of these songs that finished in a rubbish-bin cause of some more visionary approach coming in Carl's mind ? Don't really know but my GOD, if only Carl could give a final shape to this song , this would be AMAZING.
And I honestly think it still matters NOW, yes. We can always believe, can't we ?

I reckon, this is the most interesting unreleased song by McCoy.
But i disagree with the idea it could have fitted (along with Sensorium and Chaocracy) to the ZooN record... I think the concept of Zoon was actually "closed" in 93. Otherwise they would have played some of those 3 songs live. But they were already abandoned...
Bau , fingers crossed!

I have got two versions of the song: one is completely unlistenable, the other is slightly better (and probably the one you are referring to). Both seem to have been taken from the same tape. I wonder if there are other sources, and I wonder if anybody out there may have the tape in question?
(fingers crossed)

its a quite a bit better I think, although I'm sure I could have done better on the EQ thats always been a weak area of mine
tamed the distortion mabee a little but not the swooshing, though its rather rythmic so hey lets say its supose to be there "wheel is turning round" mabee that refers to a leslie cabinet...or chicken fryers.
do a comparison, let me know what ya'll think....

ooo I just got some fantabulous ideas when working on another project, a clean way to remove some of the distortion! I took a very crackly guitar amp , did a 'noise print' reduction using that sample and it worked! Didn't get rid of all the distortion but realy helped. more experimentation needed and the right cracklyness on the amp.... tee hee!morphicfields wrote:This thread was mimicked here
I tried tidying it a bit but agree with Bau.
Also I noticed the 'swooshing' was mainly noticable on the high frequencies so I made a mono of the track and notched out the other freqeuncies. This realy centered the cymbals and brought out the snare, did the mix a world of good.
But first I 've got the another project I've got to finish first , which hopefuly you all will enjoy
wish me luck!!
Thank you Bau for this..Bau wrote:ok here it is.

Im gonna have another go at that song, but first I've been asked to do the zoon-(genesis version) and some others. If you haven't been over to it, there is the track from atherns we did in the sharing section. I'm quite proud of that one. iz naaahs
