I don´t know anything about the used sample but I think it´s a citation from the apocrypha Books of Enoch the first part being the Book of Watchers.

These lines are quoted in mourning sun :)

Is that a line from the Bible too? I haven't read the Bible myself but what book would that be from if so?
... ne'ermind... just googled it... from the Bible book of Luke...or Matthew depending on which webpage you look at... in any case it's a nice quote and apt for the song.

Sorry for continuing off topic, but I can't resist to mention how beautifully Carl paraphrases this passage from the Bible. Instead of
But keep on storing up treasures for yourselves in heaven, where moths and rust do not destroy and where thieves do not break in and steal, because where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
he says
you're here to stay
stay here in paradise
which of course I think is perfect since we don't have to wait for a paradise somewhere else than here.
