what I have been is that yes, John stuck by Carl for many years, and was a big contribbuter to Zoon and Mourning Sun. You will find him mentioned in the liner notes of Zoon.mindcleener wrote:Not to offend anyone here, byt the line above always makes me laugh out loud. Just to sort out most things from Mourning Sun and Parts of Zoon made and produced by John Carter (one of quoted "Ghost Musician"), maybe their lack of releases no wonder since he left...
Also remind interview with JC why he left that "he´s been stuck there and no progress in future" - also another point. I think with the current FOTN we can´t expect anything (except boots or unofficial greek releases from Kiriaki21 ). The Eden House are more FOTN as FOTN themselve are ...

Yeah, they are in the Groove. I'm also used now to their lack of Carl's organ. Guess some day I might find myself also listening to XII.NorthernNephilim wrote:The Eden House are more FOTN as FOTN themselve are.
Did anybody notice that Motörhead's Love Me Like A Reptile sounds like old style FotN stuff? Anyone ever thought of compiling a FotN-sound-alike album with songs of other bands? Oh my! Crazy fans on cold turkey!
Oh please. Could some one, with music, rip my fcuking heart out?

Fotn "Phobia" also sounds like Motörhead "Ace of Spades" also on the very early recordings (Sacred an the Profane Vinyl) they sound very Motörhead-ish ...

No he wasn't. That is in no way, shape or form, true.Bau wrote:and was a big contribbuter to Zoon

Probably something inbetween.Invisible Goth wrote:No he wasn't. That is in no way, shape or form, true.Bau wrote:and was a big contribbuter to Zoon
It's written in the notes "To those who made the impossible, possible in the light of day... " and among the names "JC (get Carter)"
unless there was another Carter in the surroundings...

Nope. Just true: John was big part of Mourning Sun (recording, arrangement, full remix of 2525, artwork) + also Zoon...
They way like the FOTN tribute band sounded on WGT just sort out why he left ...

I'd rather hear something new from Last Rites, but this could be good.NorthernNephilim wrote:XII Update :

Good news everybody!
I just jismed my pants!
By a strange coincidence I began listening to Ceromonies for the 1st time last Saturday and stopped in a very sad mood after the 2nd track as couldn't stop myself from thinking, that the guitars sound excellent but the drum tracks, if only someone had rewritten those, Nod-style that is.
I guess I can call myself lucky having to worry about such things...
Go, Nod, Go!
Have some fun
and play the drum!
