E.H.S.

Post by Ngie » Thu Jul 23, 2009 9:13 pm

Musicians and more generally every people "tuned" have a predisposition to E.H.S.
On one hand in the last years the level of electromagnetic waves have hugely increased with mobile phones, wi-fi, 3G, etc.

On the other hand many people complain about stress, tiredness, insomnia, difficulties of concentration. Since it is never pleasant to admit a fall of capacity few people acknowledge it and rather they invoque the global crisis for instance. Some people have started to react. Here's a website where those who wonder can find information and solutions.

Interesting stuff, Ngie.

Of course, it could be argued that EHS/EMS is more prominent in musicians due to their artistic nature; and that nature in turn is more naturally prone to 'stress'. Which can do some remarkably stupid things to the human body - but often those that suffer from it won't acknowledge it, and instead clutch at straws to find an external source to blame.

Or in can be argued that all these waves of the gods know what frequencies zipping through the air is pretty much bound to fcuk us up in some way...

And if that isn't enough: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8165928.stm

Wireless electricity? Sounds like a good idea in theory. In practice??? Oh lawks....

You reflect exactly -and even further- what I meant to say Lord Mureth. Thanks for that and for the resource you linked.

Here's another one found bouncing from the same web page.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/8164937.stm

It is an interview of single Bruce Willy and it's about music made from thin air.

Remark:"Speaking" with hands is something very italian. Them Mangia Spaghetti are likely to apreciate it more than any people else.

"Or in can be argued that all these waves of the gods know what frequencies zipping through the air is pretty much bound to fcuk us up in some way... "

I'm not sure what you mean. "waves of the gods"? *smoking*

"The Substance of Things not Seen" conference referred under the video and which took place in Oxford must have been a very interesting event. I wish I was there. Giving substance to things unseen, isn't that somewhat providing to those things a way to reality? Now I wish some ingenious specialist found a way to make obvious those electromagnetic fields which have invaded our space. For instance with a different colour of the rainbow for each frequency. If only to open the eyes of them Saint-Thomas stressed out yet still sceptics. Lawks a lawdy

We already have the infra-red and ultra-violet so I guess it should be possible sooner or later.

I could have worded that a little better  Although "waves of the gods" sounds all very prosaic and nephilimmy, it was meant in more of a kind of "waves of buggery knows what".

Actually, scratch that. "Waves of buggery" sounds much, much worse...

*notworthy* ... not yet as worse as "waves of burglary" I'm afraid.

You don’t need to worry, Aidy, just to be watching what’s going on so that not to let yourself be abused and injured . The space that belongs to everybody is beeing invaded nowadays by pulsed waves since some unscrupulous felons who have nothing in mind but piling up royalties found this such very lucrative way. Some burglars spoil the quiet of everybody. Of course the quiet is invisible to the eye like to other senses. It’s not always obvious to catch what makes the quiet. By groping and stepping no doubt that the link will be done between those waves and an alteration of the heath. Let’s hope it takes less than 25 years !
Better aware of those new crimes against people than exposed without protection.

Er, that would be Bruce Woolley ... as in "Video Killed The Radio Star" (The Buggles/Camera Club)! Talking of theremins - didn't Skin/Skun Anansie do a little theremin number live in days gone by? :)

Oh yes Woolley, you're probably right I chose the easiest spelling. Not tried yet a spectrum handheld analyser, I'm actually busy with a problem of suffocating air to solve in my new flat. Thanks Azazel for the link anyway.

I read that Skunk Anansie used a theremin in their Post Orgasmic Chill CD, and the search for its listenning lead me to find a parallel between the symptons associated to E.H.S. and those of P.O.I.S.
Nobody cares to know but synchronicity or something I woke up this morning from an orgasmic dream with a soar uterus. *whistle* :?:

You'll follow me down by Skunk A. sounds beautiful.

oh and there's another famous Wolley, Sir Charles Leonard Wolley whose excavations at Ur in Mesopotamia may interest some of those who are fond of archeologia. Also this bring us back to the myth of the Nephilim much documented already in other forums though not in this one.

For myself I'm more interested in exploring the frontiers between wake and sleep. Elizium the album was an artistic journey Mr. Mc Coy shared with us.

Altho I doubt you are..FUBAR (thanks for this new word to my vocabulary and name of upper place *notworthy* ) P.O.I.S. stands not for Fabaceae Pisum Sativum as the french spelling without dots would suggest but for Post Orgasmic Illness Syndrom a somatoform disorder.

FUBAR, and SNAFU, are, at their youngest estimate, WWII acronyms. Certainly, WWII is the earliest recorded use of them.

UK phone-booth are red, here's one light bearer

Image "Electronics engineers report that SNAFU and FUBAR were used before World War II by repairmen sent out to repair phone booths. They had to report the situation at arrival to the scene, often on a very bad line, so they developed these acronyms to make themselves understood" (from Wikipedia resource)
