Zoon is 20 in April !

Post by dj_chr1st » Thu Feb 18, 2016 8:34 am

I was hoping for some kind of anniversary re-release or tour.

I guess nothing is happening as we would have heard about it by now..

Missed opportunity ?

(My dream would be the whole album played live and Genesis Bootleg cleaned up and released as a second disc to the album) *cthulhu*

Maybe because, as I gathered, it was a commercial failure ? (Except in France, where you can sell anything as long as it has "metal" tagged on it…)
Fundraiser. You know, it's like Hellraiser, but without the Cenobites, the blood and all that.

Wikipedia has just informed me it's also the 40th anniversary of Boney M's debut album "Take the Heat Off Me".
Given how erratic Zoon is, I'd rather pay good money seeing Carl doing a show of Boney M covers !

Oh my GOD!

Carl singing Rasputin and Rivers of Babylon! YES! I demand that this becomes real RIGHT NOW!
Brown Girl In The Ring and Daddy Cool might be a little wrong though

Slightly OT, but wasn't Rivers of Babylon a cover of some reggae band ?

Originally by The Melodians. Of course, this should appeal to Carl's reggae roots.
