Re: E/P Prophecy
It. Is. Beautiful.
The 2min instrumental one, "Earthbound". I love it. I long for it.
I hope that it's not the whole song. More like one of those classic long ones that gain speed near the end.

Heh, the guys who got setlist off the stage told me that they heard the title is either Burning Sun or Dark Sun. lolzes.
Anyway, good to listen to the recorded version, thanks for sharing it here. Back there I definitely didn't taste the full flavour of this song(s) as it came out of nowhere and all I had to do is stand with a "wtf" expression.

Scardwel ; I haven't seen anything sure regarding earthbound, just guesses.. but I did see Meghan Noel-Pettit comment that "the new song is called Prophecy"

Re: E/P Prophecy
earthbound sounded amazing and i refuse to believe that it is 'just' an intro. it just needs to be a whole song. what a pity if it wasn't.
...although the neph intros are better than many songs by other bands=)

i begin to love that Earthbound thing if this is just an instrumental Work in Progress to a lovely 15 Minutes Song
Re: E/P Prophecy
I don't know how it is for you others but this foretaste is whetting my appetite!
Now longing for the studio version of this and expecting to hear it soon then on goth/dark radios.

Re: E/P Prophecy
after many listenings i think Fields Of The Nephilim new song "Prophecy" is just a tribute to DEEP PURPLE, just listen some similar riff guitars

no it's not, just an uptempo number
let's wait for the 25 minutes studio version

you are kidding. you only say that because it's not zoonish enough for you.Oskar Terramortis wrote:just a tribute to DEEP PURPLE
and even if it is a cover: the fotn version of 'in every dream home a heartache' is the best and the same would/will apply here.

A jolly nice tune. The vocals and the bass are fantastic, and the drumming, to my amazement, is also superb.
Also, it makes me think we may actually get some new material...
