It's not cm, it's pixels. So it's a pretty usual image size for digital painting.

Everyone keeps calling me "mate" and "guy". It kind of bothers me. "Gal" or "lass" would be more preferable.

They are absolutely fantastic.
If you pass through my soul tonight
Gather all his troubles
Tomorrow's long with eternal night
Gather for tomorrow
When I'm gone wait here
Discover all of earth's surprises
When I'm gone wait here
I'll send my child my last good smile

Nice work! I'm an illustrator in the US, a Neph fan since the 90's and just now signed up for this board, (Hello!)
Completely green with envy at all of you who are lucky enough to have had the opportunity to see these guys live.
Anyway, last week I was working on some rockers "then and now" sketches for a possible upcoming project and my subjects of choice for that evening were Iggy Pop and none other and Mr. Carl Mccoy. These were just some quick 10 minute studies on the wacom to get familar with facial features, expression, eyes, etc. No offense Iggy, but some age better than others. I wanted to draw the portraits in a similar pose, to get more of the "then and now" effect. Doing a quick search online, I found that it was kind of hard to find a young Mccoy photo from the 80's-90's that wasn't poor (faded/blurred out) reference quality compared to the clarity of today's camera shots. Anyway, this is the result.

Awwww... a
professional illustrator, my arch-nemesis! We meet again, here, in a showdown at high noon.
Anyway, these are really good for the ten minute sketches. It takes ten minutes for me to plug my tablet, boil some tea and start doodling around some shapeless blobs.
Good job!

Well I think your drawings are really well done and nice to look at! BTW what are you working on? Wacom? Are you working in PS? I always love looking at other people's work. It's always refreshing to see what other artists do and how they do it.
Let's see more fan art!

I use a 6 year old cheap chinese excuse for a tablet. Yes, it's still functioning after all these years(and one repairing), and even if it pisses me off sometimes. it's enough for me to draw on every now and then. Although the sad truth is that I simply can't afford replacing it with a Wacom.
And yes, Photoshop.

Oookay!
Here's my earliest drawing of CM, back from the day when I decided to try real airbrush painting and discovered that airbrush is not as forgiving as digital painting. So for the sake of practice I started to do these "no filters, color picking or transformation" drawings.

Funny story, probably back then I wouldn't have imagined that the same very poster, only signed, would be decorating my wall one day.

Okay, so I didn't feel like working tonight. Apologies if this is off -topic, maybe it should go in the General Chat but I guess you could put this under "Fan Art!". Anyway, enjoy!
