Re: Fan art
That's quite funny… In a general fight, who would win ?
Fundraiser. You know, it's like Hellraiser, but without the Cenobites, the blood and all that.

Re: Fan art
I'm for Goyless...
All our days are numbers
We bare the face of men
The rain, the skies are changing
But I will fly again
We bare the face of men
The rain, the skies are changing
But I will fly again
Re: Fan art

Well, they all have black capes, and a lot of bravado. But I'd put my money on Mccoy because sometimes it's the quiet ones you gotta watch out for. That's quite funny… In a general fight, who would win ?

Re: Fan art
So there I was looking for some Polish show pics when I found this awesome live shot that I just had to paint.
It's amazing how something as simple as a silhouette can make such an impression on me. If I could paint for real-real, I would definitely do a canvas version of this one. Perhaps I should try, hmmm...Gargoyles rock!

Thankees!
Ngie, how did you create those(the scratch thing and the sheet painting)? I remember my co-workers once gave me this black scartchy-thingie with a cartoon turtle which I never finished because my hand kept slipping.

Thank you for the compliment
Goyless : Your drawing is very successful, and I like particularly the effect of contrast between the silhouette and this bright blue
For the glass plate I used its transparency. I scotch-taped the image under the plate and used a pen engraver that kind :
only with the hand : no batteries.
As for the drawing on white sheet cotton, I used some paper trace + grey pencil then I've painted it with a brush and some paint for fabric.

Allow me to share my other "from-the-reference-draw" depicting my favourite stance that Carl does on stage: "the disturbing stare", where he looks at everyone and at no one in particular, making you feel uneasy as his glance is going right through you. Oh, Carl, you lovable creep!

“The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.”

Re: Fan art
you should definitely get work at sheer faith?!
Re: Fan art
I guess so, considering the McCoy ratio in my portfolio is reaching 95% now! Now I only need to learn some calligraphy so I can write nice lyrics in the album sleeves.NorthernNephilim wrote:you should definitely get work at sheer faith?!
