Don't know what the origin of the joke is, but someone thought that Carl's outstretched hands felt like a fishing boast (you know, "I got one THIS big, I swear, mates !") Hence the Nemos. The kind of practical joke those boys n'ghouls here are capable of ! *smoking*

And they have the courtesy NOT to wear out its welcome…

Nothing to do with the topic but a couple of days ago I was acknowledged by too relatives that they particularly apreciate fishing, a hobby which they find very relaxing to the point of spending the whole day by the water even alone. Of course it requires not to be bothered by the fact of killing. I prefer hunting pictures and the sight of Nemo flying amongst the Aidy and other Towers at Neph gigs are entertaining somewhat :D

Did I miss the Nemos at Shepherds Bush? I was right at the front and cast the odd look back to enjoy the towers - but saw no fish, just all those Jaegermeister garlands

I think this peculiar joke has worn out it's welcome… It's only funny for a while, after all, then it becomes tedious !

A free cheese diet can become boring, that's easily understandable especially when you're French and is becoming the season of tartiflette, raclettes and other fondues

A salmon? Are you sure it is not a koï fish or magoî?
On this Koi carp forum http://www.koiisland.co.uk/AboutKoiOriginJapan.aspx it reads : "The Japanese word for Carp is ‘KOI’ and the ‘NISHIKIGOI’ (brocaded Carp) that are now kept and revered by many collectors throughout the world as the most beautiful of ornamental pet fish, are all direct descendants of very ancient wild, black carp known in Japan as ‘Magoi’."

I have to admit seeing those pictures again made me laugh out loud :)

As i recall Nemo was laid to rest a couple of years ago (it did get slightly out of hand dawnrazor style) but im sure Minicarl purchased a stuffed toy Nemo and all the Dawnrazors present at the time signed it and it was given to the band . I seem to remember this being at Hellfire Festival in Birmingham but i may be wrong but i do remember signing it (while slightly inhebriated  )

Didn't Nemo got lost in Birmingham?

Maybe, not sure when Nemo got lost excactly, though very likely. Poor Nemo!

Well Nemo is not a koï fish of course, however they have similarities if only they're much coloured and as every fish as 'Mute as a carp' which is a french hyperbole, henceforth Le veiilleur silencieux? :o
