got it 2 days ago...nice preacher-man (drums a bit overdubbing)...and a very funny interview

I find it kind of funny, how Carl manages to get so many people writing remarks on every little gesture and hint of emotion he shows.
For me sometimes this carries the assumption as if the public view of artists who are not that much of a public people offstage automatically build the image of introverted emotionless shells. An odd mechanism, setting in wherever mysteries occur. As I was equally surprised of how openly Carl answered the questions to the Orkus-Crew, especially compared to another Interview I saw, I caught myself thinking in the same pattern, coming from the image that a Carl is not known for holding speeches

I also have to admit, when I was routing back through the Amphi Backstage-corridors last year on my way to the photopit, two cameras around my neck, I was completely stunned when suddenly the Nephs turned around the corner. Especially as I wasn´t sure about Carl´s attidude toward cameras. While there was no chance to hide away or to jump back to the cashiers office I came from without looking like a complete idio, I panically picked the "safety version" and turned the cams aside, just as obviously as I ever could, like a little child who had stolen sweets from a candystore - . I really didn´t know how to judge the moment. But guess what, nothing happened, besides me literally pissing my pants.

So it´s all about the myth. And that´s what also delights me. The emotional buttons, artists are able to press. Simply by their presence.
