I was a DJ for a short while myself. Personal highlights included :
- playing the For her light medley in its entirety, which drove the electro heads maaaaaaaaad ;
- playing Dust (Forever and Ever live version), complete with dry ice and strobe lights, and pumping up the volume ! Everybody got blind and deaf all of a sudden. That was sweet.

What am I doing? These days not much to be frank :? Tell ya what I've done once. When I was 13, I brought some Nephilim and Joy Division records to music lesson at school . I played them Phobia, For Her Light live and some tunes from JD. Can you imagine faces of my mates and teacher. That must have been a traumatic experience for them. Man, that was bloody scary. And know what? My teacher, she borrowed those records :o :D

Gentlemen,
If we're finished with the "more devoted than thou" contest, perhaps we could stray back on topic?
Don't get me wrong - I'm all for impassioned debate, just so long as it advances a related and appropriate topic.

As for what I've been doing to keep FOTN a going concern - I'll have you know that I've been to every Neph gig since M'era Luna in 2000!

Time to go back to lurking.

You don't know what the fcuk i'm doing (of course). But DJ'ing old Nephilim releases to keep them alive is the same as playing Joy Division to keep them alive. You've expressed your opinions on the current FOTN, that's not keeping them alive. And don't question peoples faith or commitment *barf*

Aye, unlike those unfortunate enough to be holding their breath for a new release... *whistle*

STop making fun of STYPER *sniffles*
We're but fools of our fate.
On this earth I shall wait.
By the roots of my soul,
I am losing control.

Who are these Nephilim and why do you all keep talking about them?
The first bit sounds like Bruce Wayne, and the second bit sounds like Batman.

During the last couple of years Carl has given us an album and a one-off gig.
I suspect nothing else will happen for a long time. :|
There's no point in living on false hope and empty promises.

In the meantime go check out some other bands e.g. NFD.
I get occasional goosebumps during their sets and I rarely get goosebumps about anything much - yes they are that good! :)
