Aye!

"The Many Forms" is my most listened to album that I own.

I had the pleasure and good fortune of seeing the band perform live last year, in Camden.

It was a great show and the new song (think it was called I FEED) was awesome.

Really hope we get to hear a studio version of this , maybe as a new single (hint hint Nod and Paul if your reading :D ).

You could try to send Nod an email? The Last Rites website may be down but maybe he has still some CDs left.

So does anyone know what is really up with the Last Rites? Does the website disappearing mean that they have disbanded? I really hope not. Last Rites really was my favorite piece of music to come out over the last 10 years or so.

After the tragic news they received this time last year (the death of their niece), maybe they simply are putting family first and have let their music get put on the back burner.

The domain lastrites.org is registered till 13-Oct-2011. If Nod Wright owns the domain after this date, we can interpret this as a sign that he is still committed to continue.

I wish I would be rich enough to fund 'em and set up some kind of Nephilim Foundation to ensure that everybody related to the Nephilim has enough time to create more music.

Come on , lets leave people's personal tragedies away from this forum. Theres enough idle and pointless banter and speculation around here to last a decade, we really don't need to include this stuff.

Yes.

In the July of 2008 I've had an exchange of e-mail with Nod when I've contacted Last Rites site for having a copy of The Many Forms, and he told me that new material was almost finished and ready to be published.
I don't care about the delay that's also justified in my opinion, the important thing in this is that Nod and Paul could continue to make music when they will decide it.

exactly this. I don't mind the delay, I just hope that they will put out new music at some point.

I felt my comment was in context in terms of the discussion.

The official Last Rites site went off-line not so long after the tragic news regarding their niece, which I thought might be simply due to them putting family before other issues, including Last Rites. I thought that maybe Nod simply chose to close it, to concentrate on his family members and their loss.

If they do another gig I'll do my best to get to it. I'd very much like to see Nod play drums live. (Although I understand that when Last Rites perform, he's doing several other things instead of playing drums.)
