Best NFD album?
Maybe this should be a poll:
What is your favourite NFD album? I would go for the first one "No Love Lost". Wicked dat! I think it´s the best non-mccoy album. A perfect mix landning somewhere between Zoon and Elizium.
X-mas blessings to all of you faithful fans out deh!

Have to say that it would be 'No Love Lost,' for me as well, for some strange reason i simply cannot seem to get into 'Dead Pool Rising,' Thought the first album was superb, really looked forward to the follow up, but then such dissappointment with it, a couple of good tracks but over all, just doesn't do it for me

Great to see someone else who loves that awesome solo. The great thing about it, is that its not self indulgent, but absolutely stunning and unforgettable. I look forward to that long solo everytime I hear that song. And 'One Moment Between Us' is indeed incredible, and it too has a short but unforgettable guitar solo that fades out at the end.Rorschach wrote:I would definitely vote for Break The Silence. Bob's five minute Floydesque guitar solo at the end is simply breathtaking
But strictly speaking, that's not an album, so Dead pool Rising must be the one.
One Moment Between Us is a Fucking Masterpiece

It's a tough choice between NLL and DPR as I like all of the tracks on both but DPR gets it for it's superior production. Deeper Visions has great songs but suffers from over mastering. Some of the songs go into distortion, perticularly on senses alive & NLID. I would have thought the band would have spotted that when they quality assured the job done by the mastering studio. I'd of sent it back and said do it again as it's such an obvious mistake on the mastering studio's part. I would love a remastered version of DV as Senses alive is one of my all time favorite NFD tracks. Has a kind of She sells sanctury vibe to it. Can't wait for the next full new album as I really love what the band do.

Re: Best NFD album?
Difficult choice for me really. I love 'No Love Lost' throughout, it has some great tunes on it but then again so does 'Dead Pool Rising'. Mmmm, I think I'll go for the first one as I hate 'Black Sun' on the second album.
